Halifax Veterinary Service is a mixed animal practice established in 1983 by Dr. Hopkins. Our patients include dogs, cats, horses, ruminants, and small pets. We have a full service small animal hospital offering general surgery, a full diagnostic laboratory, digital radiography, ultrasound, and routine outpatient services. Our large animal services include farm calls for horses, cattle, and small ruminants. We are able to provide digital radiography, endoscopy, and ultrasound services to our equine patients, along with routine vaccinations and preventative health programs. For our regular small and large animal patients we offer emergency services. We also work with area specialists for referrals.
